Thomas Slatter
…is a film producer and curator. He studied at the University of Television and Film Munich. Through his company, Sommer Slatter Film, he produces documentary and fiction projects. In 2024, he won the DOK.talent Award, which financed the feature documentary POLITICS ARE PERSONAL by Indira Geisel, co-produced by German public broadcaster ZDF. His films have screened at festivals including Max Ophüls, FIPA DOC, Diagonale, and in cities such as Brussels, Dresden, Sapporo, and New York. He also works as an independent advisor for online communication in film distribution, on films including HOLLYWOODGATE. He serves as president of Switzerland’s Zug Film Festival.
